What GizMix Is
It's an open and independent space for discovering long-form audio creativity — especially from emerging artists, indie bands, amateur DJs, and anyone passionate about mixing music in personal, unexpected ways. It's built for listeners who love diving into new sounds, and for creators who want to share their mixes without being filtered by commercial platforms or algorithms.
The project is being developed as openly as possible, with a focus on transparency, privacy, and collaboration. GizMix supports like-minded developers, shares tools when feasible, and welcomes contributions of other audio features. The goal isn’t to compete with corporate streaming — it’s to offer a freer, more respectful, and creatively useful space.
What GizMix Is Not
GizMix is not a mainstream streaming platform, a social network, or a data-driven content engine. It doesn’t aim to track users, serve ads, push viral trends, or reward popularity metrics. Instead, it avoids the noise and pressure of algorithmic feeds in favor of organic, human discovery.
It also isn’t intended for sharing commercial copyrighted music without fair use or user rights. While it welcomes transformative or original work, the platform encourages a culture of respect toward artists, labels, and legal boundaries.
GizMix is not about hype or monetization. You won’t find influencer scores, crypto tokens, or locked features. It’s a creative utility — not a product chasing engagement or profit.
